Terms
Fees: Greyhound-sitting fees are $25 per day per dog, with 50% due in advance to hold your reservation and the balance due when your greyhound arrives. Billing is applied per calendar day - if you drop off your dog on Wednesday and pick him up on Thursday, that counts as two days.
Adoption groups: For clients who are referred by an adoption group, we will donate a portion of the fees from your first visit back to your group.
"Off leash" rule: Here at Happy Houndz we take your greyhounds and your adoption contract extremely seriously. As such, we do not condone greyhounds being "off leash" in any setting other than a fully-secured, enclosed area. This also includes travelling between your vehicle and our home when you drop off and pick up your greyhound. Thank you for following our request as we support our local greyhound adoption groups and their adoption agreements.
Medication: There is no additional fee for administering supplements or medication.
Booking: We have a very limited number of spots available, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Before your first visit: Before booking your first extended stay, we strongly recommend you schedule a visit so that your greyhound is familiar with our home and hounds.
Food: Here at Happy Houndz Home we are open to all forms of feeding: raw, kibble and home-cooked. Please provide your greyhound's own food for his or her stay, to avoid any undue stress or stomach upset from dietary changes. You may also choose to purchase a food plan from Happy Houndz Home – please contact us for pricing details. Happy Houndz Home provides only healthy all-natural treats, either homemade or from N/A Nothing Added products.
Safety: Muzzles are required. Also for the sake of safety, only greyhounds are permitted at Happy Houndz. Please make other arrangements for any non-greyhound siblings.
Smoking: Our home is a smoke-free environment.
